Some of you who were here at the 5/12/09 craft fair may recall, there was a crew from  Northern Visions TV taking some film footage and interviewing some of our crafters, volunteers & Trustees.  Well I am pleased to say, that they have now completed the project, and if you click here, this link will take you to the Vimeo website where you will be able to watch this +/-20min documentary. 

We are so chuffed with the final product, that this link will be always be on our Home Page for all to see who come onto the website.

Well, its a new year, and a fresh start for many.  I hope that you all have a fantastic 2010 and that all the Craft Fairs we have this year, will be as successful as the ones held in 2009.  Our next craft fair will be held on Saturday 6/02/10.  We would like to theme this one around Valentines day.  See you there!

The craft fair was a great success on Saturday. We had a special visit from the Lord Mayor of Belfast Naomi Long, who took the time to visit all the craft stalls A big thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets, we will be announcing the winner on 23/12/09 at the next craft fair.  So join us on next Wednesday, for mulled wine, mince pies, raffle draw and SANTA will be there from 11.30am - 1.00pm.

Our Christmas Hamper was won by Alan Montgomery of Belmont Business Park.

Unfortunatly, our sponsors have fallen through, and we wont be having a Christmas lights switch on.  However, we will still have mulled wine & mince pies, a Christmas Hamper to raise funds for the building, A special guest, a small outdoor food market and lots more.

We have decided to hold two craft fairs in December.  Wednesday 23rd December is our second one.  This will be chance for people to come and get some last minute Christmas veg from our farm stall outside, and pick up some stocking fillers.

We would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone!  Our first ever craft fair was a HUGE success.  We estimate a foot fall of over 500 people! So well done to everyone involved.  A special thank you to all the volunteers who helped on the day.  Without you, things would not have gone as smoothly as they did.  A special thank you to Darryl for providing us with some amazing fire dancing. 

 

Of course, the biggest thanks goes to our Crafters on the day.  Without your wonderful products, it would just have been an empty hall.  We received some great feed back from you, and we do appreciate all the advice that you have to offer.
