About Us
Award-winning Belmont Tower is a small venue suitable for a wide range of conferences, meetings and events. This Gothic styled late Victorian listed building, has been beautifully restored and adapted to become a stunning and inviting location in which to do business. Belmont Tower is accessible to disabled visitors and excellent in-house catering is available for all types of events. Close to Belfast city centre and only a few minutes drive from the George Best Belfast City Airport and all major road, bus and sea routes.
Belmont Tower is managed by the Old Belmont School Preservation Trust (OBSPT)
The Trust was established as a company limited by guarantee (NI 37541) on 29th November 1999. It is a single project Building Preservation Trust with charitable status (XR 34279) and is a member of the Association of Preservation Trusts.
The Patron of the Trust is Lady Carswell OBE.
The Trustees / directors are all volunteers receiving no remuneration for their work. Currently there are seven Trustees:

CS Lewis was born only a short distance from Belmont Tower and all around this historic venue is steeped in CS Lewis history.

Recently voted one of the UK’s best weekend destinations it has enjoyed lots of investment and regeneration over recent years and you’ll find a lively mix of designer cafes, bars, restaurants and clubs, contemporary city living and award winning venues and concert halls.
